Bird on a Wire

Bringing a stunning new eatery to life through close collaboration and teamwork

Designed by Ctrl Space, the newest Bird on a Wire venue can be found in Tauranga Crossing’s newest dining precinct, The Observatory. This chicken-centric eatery called upon Harrows to help provide furniture that matched their ‘good vibes only’ feel.

The biggest challenge for this project was meeting tight installation deadlines. This was incredibly important to the client, with financial penalties at risk if The Crossing’s strict opening deadline wasn’t achieved. Harrows was “under pressure to perform, which they did – meeting and exceeding expectations” says Brad Jacobs, Director of Bird on a Wire. Through strong communication and recommending products that both met the brief and were in stock “we were able to achieve a fantastic overall outcome”.

The close collaboration resulted in a stunning eatery that stays true to the design vision while meeting the budget and time frame requirements. Company colours yellow and black are reflected in the powder coated table legs, pedestal bases and custom sheet steel table tops.
