Designed by CRTL Space and located in SkyCity Auckland, Metita is a restaurant inspired by the culture, cuisine, and art of the Pacific. The space offers an immersive dining experience, brought to life through rich textures and exquisite material. Metita has been recognised for its design excellence, winning the Hospitality category at the Interior Awards 2024 and also being shortlisted for the Hotel – Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 2024.
Harrows supplied custom table tops and bases that complement the restaurant’s unique design vision. A standout feature is the solid American Ash table tops, stained to match Vidaspace’s ‘Cinnamon Triba’. This matching process showcases Harrows’ ability to create pieces that seamlessly integrate with the overall design scheme. The tables feature a double bullnose edge, demonstrating both meticulous craftsmanship and a dedication to refined detail.
Additionally, Harrows provided round silver travertine table tops, finished with a bullnose edge. The intricate texture of the travertine adds to the rich material palette of Metita’s interior.
