Taumata o Kupe
Taumata o Kupe is a global indigenous learning centre dedicated to sharing taonga tuku iho.
In a space that is about sharing, Harrows was delighted to work alongside Spaceworks fitting out the interior spaces with modular soft seating that adapts to the space as it is used.
Custom ottomans were developed and manufactured inhouse by Harrows to create the desired silhouettes that were based off traditional shapes. When arranged together they compliment the patterns and whakapapa etched on the building.
Unite Seating upholstered in the same complimentary shades creates an amphitheater effect for group seating in front of the screens, which again can be easily rearranged to suit the activity of the space.
