Te Kete Aronui Rototuna Library is Hamilton’s first purpose-built library and community hub. This space embodies a modern approach to communal learning and engagement. Harrows proudly contributed to this project as one of the furniture suppliers, working closely with the teams at Designwell and Chow:Hill to enhance the space’s functionality and aesthetic appeal.
The collaborative leaners and stools, provide versatile spaces for interactive learning and group activities, while comfortable seating throughout the library offers areas for relaxation. Ensuring that every corner of Te Kete Aronui encourages meaningful community interactions.
Te Kete Aronui, named after one of the three knowledge baskets from Māori legend, symbolises the library’s role as a pivotal space for learning and community interaction. Beyond traditional library amenities, the facility features bookable meeting rooms, an Auaha Makerspace, and an onsite café, enriching the community experience.
Te Kete Aronui is more than just a library; it serves as a vibrant hub where residents gather to learn, collaborate, and socialise. The thoughtful integration of Harrows’ furniture promotes inclusivity and encourages meaningful interactions, fostering a sense of belonging among community members.
