Harrows is a family business owned by three brothers, Mark, Tim and Rich Suckling who all learnt the craft of furniture making from an early age. The family was initially focused on manufacturing domestic furniture to service the NZ wholesale market for over 30 years.
Harrows was an existing business importing and re-selling furniture in the hospitality sector, and was acquired by the Sucklings in 2006. It was quickly apparent that there was a large appetite for fresh, different and exciting furniture options not only in hospitality but across all commercial markets.
Fast forward to today and Harrows has three generations under one roof, with a team upwards of 45 across sales, marketing, customer service, operations and production, with specialist departments in-house for laminating and machining, engineering, fitting and assembly, upholstery, polishing, painting and powder coating.
We believe that good design should be both functional and aesthetically pleasing, but most importantly, good design should be accessible to all.
