Met Chairs playing a prominent role in fitting out Dunedin's most versatile auditorium
Harrows was delighted to supply furniture inside the Dunedin City Hall. A magnificent neo-Renaissance Victorian building – the seat of the Dunedin City Council, providing its formal meeting chamber, as well as a large auditorium, conference centre and i-Site office.
The largest of the Dunedin Centre’s facilities, this versatile auditorium can be used for conferences, concerts, live performances, exhibitions, balls, or social functions. Accommodating up to a maximum of 2,200 people (seated), there are many original historical features that make this a very special venue – such as the impressive barrel-vaulted, coffered ceiling in the ground floor foyer, and the symphonic organ built in 1919. Harrows provided the strong and versatile Met Chair, with an upholstered shell for additional comfort.
