Enhancing collaborative workspaces through furniture.
Harrows was delighted to be involved in the refit of a large-scale civic workspace that embraced an open-plan and activity-based work approach. This vision called for a carefully considered furniture selection to support team collaboration and workplace flexibility. Bespoke timber leaners encourage social interaction and casual group meetings, while smaller pedestal tables provide space for focused solo work or one-on-one conversations.
The fitout introduces a balance of social, collaborative, and focus zones, enhanced by a warm, outdoor-inspired colour palette. Solid Ash tables and leaners, finished in a clear stain, celebrate the natural grain of the timber—bringing a fresh and organic feel to the busy workspace.
The success of the project was driven by strong communication, a shared vision, and a collaborative, can-do spirit among all parties involved.
