Harrows partnered with Izzard Design in collaboration with Ignite Architects on Pavilion Bar and Kitchen in Queenstown. Designed with chef Sean Connolly, Pavilion blends bold food, layered textures, and a layout built for connection. It’s a space that feels honest and enduring, with open hearths, reclaimed timber and warmth at its core.
Furniture helps to shape the experience. Harrows supplied custom round banquettes, based on the Solace range, that encourage social dining and easy flow. A sleeper banquette built from reclaimed railway hardwood adds a sense of history and weight. Each material was carefully considered to match the vision: honed stone, tiles, and timber working together to bring depth and texture to the fit-out.
The furniture installation was staged to suit the build. Banquettes were manufactured offsite and installed in collaboration with Cook Brothers, allowing the fit-out to progress smoothly. Loose furniture followed a few months later, completing the space without disruption.
At Pavilion, furniture doesn’t compete. It supports the space, the movement and the mood. It’s a quiet backdrop for a hospitality experience built on gathering, warmth and good food.
