NZ's largest mall just got larger, with an exceptional new foodcourt experience.
In 2014, Harrows worked with Kiwi Property on furniture for Sylvia Park. Fast forward to 2020, and Harrows were thrilled to again be manufacturing furniture for their exciting new expansion. The 20,000m2 expansion called the Galleria adds 57 new retail tenancies, with a new dining precinct “The Terrace at Sylvia Park” sitting alongside and is the work of architectural firm Buchan Group.
The Terrace features a range of globally inspired cuisine options within a lively and casual dining setting. The traditional shopping centre eatery experience is elevated with luxe textures and finishes. Considerable thought has gone into the design of the space, both in terms of how it looks and how it is used, with charging stations and power outlets subtly integrated into a large number of furniture pieces.
Harrows managed majority of the furniture manufacturing at our factory before shipping it up for onsite installation in conjunction with other trades and suppliers. A lot of team work and a few late nights saw a smooth install ready for opening day.
