The Merchant Bar & Kitchen

The Merchant Bar & Kitchen showcases some of Albany’s great views from their north facing, sun filled outdoor area at the busy Westfield Albany Shopping Centre.

Harrows were delighted to work alongside Ctrl Space interior designers to create a stylish, yet laid back alfresco space. What sets this space apart is the built in outdoor banquette seating. A mixture of high and low banquette seats create intimate and comfortable spaces within the area, and the removable squabs make set up and pack down a breeze for the Merchant Bar team. The banquette construction was designed to incorporate planters boxes to help create outdoor ambiance with greenery and planting.

The space is finished off with furniture in carefully selected powder coat colours to elevate these choices and create a cohesive design narrative that maintains the chilled out vibe of the venue.
