Make a real statement with this New Zealand designed and manufactured outdoor table — Best Awards Bronze Pin 2021.
The Fold Table is an exciting outdoor table and a Harrows’ own design. The folded steel plate ends create playful shapes that draw the eye and the diner, creating shadows and planes that almost appear as an optical illusion. The slatted timber tops are mounted to the steel frame and end plates, which are in turn bolted down. This table is tough and uses robust materials such as galvanised steel and Sapele hardwood to ensure it withstands day and night.
The steel folds are mirrored at each end which allows the tables to perfectly fit together creating end on end configurations. The design includes a matching bench seat with considered dimensions to allow access in and out at the ends. Make a real statement with this design, either in raw galvanised steel or powder coated in a colour of your choice.
This Harrows design carries GreenRate™ Level C certification and PlatinumHEALTH™ HealthRATE™ certifications under the Global GreenTag International Product Health Declaration™ (GreenTag PHD™) program.
In the Green Star® NZ program Level C carries 50% of the credit points. The GreenTag PHD is recognised by WELL™ and LEED®. A copy of each GreenRate certificate can be downloaded from product resource section.
This dynamic design is built to stand up to New Zealand’s harsh outdoor conditions, and is also NZ designed and NZ made.
Bolted down for strength and security, the Fold Table and Bench Seat are hassle free solution to achieving a designer outdoor seating area.
Sapele is a robust West African hardwood timber that is reddish-brown in colour with an interlocked fine grain. Sapele is the ideal hardwood for outdoor furniture construction due to its resistance to decay and moisture.
Designs that are constructed from Sapele timber are finished with an ‘Oiled’ finish as standard, or you can request our ‘Dark Oiled’ finish.
Outdoor timber is best cleaned with a cloth moistened with water or a mild soapy solution. When scrubbing tougher stains, use water and white vinegar. Scrub in the direction of the grain to prevent noticeable scratching. Bird droppings must be cleaned off as soon as possible, as they can cause permanent stains and corrosion.
Regular oiling with Sikkens Cetol HLSe or a similar outdoor oil will keep them looking pristine.
