Barker’s of Geraldine celebrated 50 years of operation by opening a beautiful cafe showcasing their delicious range of products. With a fresh, soft colour palette and a variety of zones for its clientele, the Barker’s Storeroom and Eatery will no doubt become a favourite dining spot for Geraldine. Able to seat 100 guests, the purpose built building is situated behind from the former St Mary’s Church Vicarage, which has been transformed into boutique accommodation.
Located on the edge of Geraldine’s scenic reserve, the foodstore and eatery was initially designed by Spaceworks, with Barker’s delighted to work with Harrows for their furniture needs because of the local element, something that’s really important to the Barker’s brand. Elegant spindle-backed chairs, painted in a range of soft pastels brighten the space and are placed around both large communal tables as well as smaller pedestal tables. Comfortable banquettes help create partitioning and zoning inside the eatery, while outside diners can enjoy the fresh country air outside on the expansive deck area fitted out with Piazza Chairs and Teak Tables.
