Enhancing collaborative workspaces through furniture.

Harrows was delighted to work with Europlan on refitting the Greater Wellington Regional Council workspace. GWRC adopted an open-plan and activity-based work approach, which meant a range of carefully crafted furniture to enhance team collaboration. Bespoke timber leaners allow for both social interaction and casual group meetings, while smaller pedestal tables are arranged for either solo or one-on-one discussions.

The fitout delivers a range of social, collaborative and focus zones, with a warm colour palette derived from the outdoors. Solid Ash tables and leaners were finished in a clear stain that doesn’t hide the grain, which adds a fresh and natural beauty to busy work areas.

The successful project delivery came down to excellent communication between GWRC, Europlan and Harrows, a shared vision from the outset and a can-do attitude.
