Harrows Experience Centre
The Orange Coronation Hall is now home to the Harrows showroom. It is an immersive experience that fosters an inviting environment where people can gather, collaborate, and explore. Originally constructed in 1922, the Orange Coronation Hall holds a special place in Auckland’s heritage, having served as a renowned ballroom dancing venue during the 1930s to 1950s. This historical backdrop adds depth and character to the showroom, fostering an atmosphere that inspires creativity and sparks conversations.
The showroom was designed in collaboration with the skilled team at Designwell. Creative Director Alexander Wastney descibes “The primary goal of the design was to seamlessly showcase Harrows’ design products within the expansive heritage space, creating flexible settings that feel instinctively welcoming to customers. Each item finds its designated space, allowing clients to immerse themselves in the diverse product ranges within a genuinely social environment.”
Every connection and every placement is carefully considered, creating a space that demonstrates the versatility and adaptability of the Harrows collection, inspiring visitors with the myriad ways they can be reimagined into their projects.
