This sensational penthouse office space is home to gaming studio RocketWerkz, with workplace design by Unispace.
RocketWerkz CEO Dean Hall gave the Unispace team a simple brief: to “[create] a workplace that positions us as one of the premier gaming studios in the world.” The penthouse space provides optimal conditions for cultivating the high performing environment and culture for sustaining the company’s impressive growth.
The designers were tasked with creating a gamified experience to transport visitors to ‘another place’, and so the idea of an airlock and space station was developed. To contrast with this the breakout space and staff lunch room areas capitalise fully on the breathtaking views, with built-in banquette seating providing comfortable and relaxed seating without imposing.
The Harrows model of off-site banquette fabrication with simple onsite installation was particularly powerful on this project, with an extra tight delivery timeframe, five other fit-outs being delivered simultaneously in the building, all with only one service lift.
