Shelter Architects were responsible for the building and the interior, and have created a space that is not only functional and efficient, but also stunning and memorable. Instead of traditional airport beam seating, the Ascent range from Green Furniture has been employed for its exceptional space utilisation, biophilic design and stunning aesthetic.

The cafe space features a range of hard wearing and robust finishes like high pressure laminate and moulded thermoplastics, with no compromises needed on look and feel thanks to the sleek Poise Leaners, Piazza Chairs and Pola Stools. The airport also features a private meeting space with a Poise Timber meeting room table, offering seamless power integration through inserts in the top. Harrows were delighted to be selected as one of many local NZ suppliers and manufacturers to partner on this incredible project that is distinctly Taupō.
