Mark Suckling was born in Timaru, New Zealand and learned the craft of furniture making in the family business. Inspired by his surroundings and industrious tendencies, He began to create his own designs to feed a design driven market hungry for NZ designs and NZ made.
As Creative Director of Harrows, he is in a unique position to see designs through from concept to prototyping to the marketplace with an exceptional hands-on approach. Mark doesn’t believe design needs to be complicated, but it should be both functional and aesthetically exciting.
